In Calgary we were billeted for a short time at Mewata Barracks by the Bow River. There were no regular uniforms available so fatigue uniforms were issued. No regard was taken as to size. Benny Bohn had been issued pants that came up under his armpits and two small men such as Benny and Jimmy Thompson could and did get into one pair of pants to have their picture taken.
